You stare into my eyes,

I stare at the floor,

Mouth open wide,

No words to say,

You move a little closer,

My heart crackles louder,

I put my hand on your chest,

I feel a dozen beats, like thunder

Sparks fly through my body;

Electricity crackles in our hearts.

    Short, sweet, and electrifying! Love buzzing like a live wire—beautifully done! It’s the kind of poem that lingers, like a spark refusing to fade. Absolutely stunning!
