Louder Than Destruction

Verse 1
When the world feels heavy
And the night grows long,
When the breaking and the burning
Try to drown out every song—
There’s a spark inside the silence,
A pulse beneath the pain,
A whisper saying, “Rise again,
Begin again, create again.”
Chorus
We have to create—
It’s the only thing louder than destruction.
Every brushstroke, every heartbeat
Is an act of reconstruction.
When the world comes crashing down,
We answer with creation—
’Cause making something beautiful
Is the truest form of defiance.
Verse 2
They can tear down all the towers,
They can scatter all the plans,
But they can’t erase the visions
That we hold within our hands.
Every poem is a protest,
Every melody a stand—
Against the quiet kind of breaking
That tries to hollow out the land.
Chorus
We have to create—
It’s the only thing louder than destruction.
Every brushstroke, every heartbeat
Is an act of reconstruction.
When the world comes crashing down,
We answer with creation—
’Cause making something beautiful
Is the truest form of defiance.
Bridge
Creation is a language
Spoken deep within the soul—
A way to stitch the fractures
And reclaim what chaos stole.
It’s the courage to imagine
When the world says “Disappear”—
It’s the fire of becoming
That outshines the darkest fear.
Verse 3
So gather all your colors,
All your stories, all your light—
Let your hands become the lanterns
That outshine the longest night.
For every act of making
Is a promise we renew—
That destruction won’t define us,
We are builders through and through.
Final Chorus
We have to create—
It’s the only thing louder than destruction.
Every brushstroke, every heartbeat
Is an act of reconstruction.
When the world comes crashing down,
We answer with creation—
’Cause making something beautiful
Is the truest form of defiance.
Outro
So keep creating, keep becoming,
Let your spirit be the sound—
Of something louder than the breaking,
Of a world rebuilt from the ground.
