I grieve for those
whose blue-black hearts
dance —
celebrating the chill of humanity.
For they lack love —
Untamed emotions
directing their paths
away from
rather than to.
I worry for you.
What great tragedy
shaped the condition
of your heart?
Would you
truly place trust in it?
What knowledge tells you
it is safe there —
Can good come
from a bruised, battered heart?
Can it know love
when pain is what’s familiar?
Or have you forgotten
what love is?
Has love
ever called you
by name?

So I’m a poet and I believe in God. But life still be life-ing. So this is how I deal. I’m revamping my page with new posts. Hopefully you appreciate/see/enjoy the growth.
And that’s all folks! Well that and those pieces of mine :)
