Lost Love.
"In the Embrace of Time, Whispers of a Faded Romance"
By Aranna Hasan Delwar Published 2 years ago • 1 min read

Winter morning bright sun,
I owe you my love, how do I repay?
You are the blue of the blue, the flower of the step
See you in the spring, the rest of the time hang.
Will you come this spring, in the shade of the banyan tree?
I haven't seen that dear face for so long, with an impossible beauty.
A yellow saree and a red fringe,
Aparupa darling and what will you see me?
First love is lost, as you are
Leave me and who will love him?
Jyotsna's sky clear night without my mind,
I am still waiting in the chadar gaon to watch the dawn.
