Lost Inside You
Lost inside your mind
a love story lives there
quiet as shadows
loud as the heartbeat we share
I walk through corridors of thought
your memories, your fears
the things you hide
and the ones you cannot name
I find your laughter like sunlight
broken across the walls
and your silence
heavy as a winter night
we touch in the spaces between words
in the moments that never arrive
I stay with you
long after the world forgets
time bends and folds around us
we exist in the same pulse
the same breath
the same secret place
your mind is a city
I will never leave
every street, every corner
every fragment of you
is a story I carry
and when I close my eyes
I still walk inside you
lost, alive,
and always yours

I've been writing poetry since the age of fourteen. With pen in hand, I wander through realms unseen. The pen holds power; ink reveals hidden thoughts. A poet may speak truth or weave a tale. You decide. Let pen and ink capture your mind❤️

This feels so intimate and tender—like stepping into someone’s soul. The imagery of laughter as sunlight and silence as winter night really stayed with me. Beautifully written.
