Lost in Time

A story of self-discovery

I’m lost in time

And not quite sure where to step

I could go right

I could go left

Going forward is another option

Because I know I can’t go back

If I keep my head held high

I will stay right on track

There’s voices in my mind

Telling me what to do

I can’t listen to any of them

I sure can’t listen to you

This is my path, my own kind of road

I’m paving the way for me

And the only way I know

I know I can’t go too far

If I stay very still

But if I don’t take my first step

I know I never will.
