Lost in the wind

Dancing in the breeze

By Jayla JonesPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

Chestnut eyes over ebony lips..(pause).....I am hypnotized........

How could I not recognize the knowledge testing in your vibes.

Fingers tips dancing across my hips more than the common grips of a mere man.

Tossing turning turmoil, threatening to turn loose, it’s simple what a simple “he’s just like the others” will do

Lost and holding every breath kept,I missed the prep, you said to me I’ve been through this before we gotta take these steps

Confused sheep’s daughter yea I took that bet.

But those chestnut eyes over those ebony lips

To him I shall pay every debt of my very being . In the order to : every pain, and every hurt . I was selfishly not seeing.

To a moving finger, learning to take break, an enhancement in choices...that gives us opportunities to take..,

under that chestnut gaze, with words to sweet to be true, love is no longer a fairytale but calling out to you.

love poems
