A Soul Forgotten

"Lost in Shadows"

In darkness, I dwell and decay,

A soul forgotten, lost each day.

No light to guide, no hope to cling,

My heart's a void, where love once sang.

Tears fall like rain, a deluge deep,

My screams echo, in an empty sleep.

No solace near, no respite in sight,

I'm trapped in this endless, darkest night.

My dreams are ashes, scattered cold,

My future bleak, my past grown old.

No warmth to hold, no hand to guide,

I'm lost, alone, and left to hide.

In this abyss, I search for a shore,

A refuge from the pain I adore.

But like a mirage, it vanishes fast,

Leaving me shattered, forever to last.
