Lost Blackbird

Thoughts like white clouds

Are covering my mind

When the grass became greener again

After a little bit of dry shame

From a very hot summer

Which you can usually only imagine

The same like cysts, spots, and moles

Covering my body more and more

And that old man

Sat on the bench where this note says:

“You’re not here physically,

But you can always sit with me”

Lightening some fire

From yellow cigarette lighter whilst I’m only a viewer

Smoking my cigarette

And looking around the world like for the first time

With my new hazel eyes

But I think the view in my head has just changed

For more and more conscious

Like clouds around the full moon close to midnight

Are leaving him alone

To let him shine on the dark blue sky

When the city is full of noise

From the crowd emerging from the whole world

Trying to find itself

In a little bit of shade

From supposedly smarter brother

Who is not helpful and I wonder

If he will ever understand

The relations happening between

The threads of the countrymen’s conversations

At least he can hardly try…
