Hope, Nature

With the air we breathe,

Comes a calmness of passion,

Not seen, felt, or heard.

With the Earth beneath,

Comforting and nurturing,

Rugged, soft, and spurred.

With fire burning,

Bestows a soul with courage,

Loving and serene.

With water flowing,

A mending heart fills with hope,

That we reconvene.

About the Creator

Mark Shaw

I began writing lyrics and stories back in high school. Even went as far as publishing a poem online and it being in a book. As with film a picture can say a thousand words and show emotion, but audio triggers that emotion.
