Several years ago I was sitting next to a man on a plane and he said:

"I wish everyone was born blind like me, then we would see clearly, true beauty, real truth, judge without seeing, learn from listening respect for everyone" ❤️

Look in the mirror. Is the reflection truly you? Look beyond what the open eye sees, into the deep shadows where reflections do not see, where your closed eye sees clearly...

Who am I

You look at yourself in the mirror, the reflection looking back at you is shattered, unrecognizable. Confused, you ask the mirror: who am I?

The mirror looks back into your eyes, replying: I don't know, I only see scattered pieces in your eyes.

Life is falling apart, lying shattered on the floor, the one person you knew best of all, who used to look back at you from the mirror is no more.

You close your eyes in pain, looking again, past the mirror, deep into the shadows far beyond what the eye can see.

There you see: true values in your life are wandering around, waiting for you to see them.

sees, you are the dear friend, the child, a mom, a dad, you are the loved one that someone misses.

In the same shadows where you truly believe appears

not scattered nor broken, not hidden nor forgotten, you may have lost clear sight for a moment...

in the shadows behind the reflection of the one you've become used to looking back from the mirror. The shattered mirror image you thought, is who you is,

To see clearly who you is, keep your eyes closed, you will see past the scattered reflection, what you open eyes not see, who you really is.

With open eyes you look in the mirror, you see yourself, from your heart, from your soul, from your inner peace, see who you really is, the reflection is no longer scattered nor broken, it's clear

The open eyes do not see your true beauty, do not see the true you, It's seeing the reflection in your eyes, broken or clear.

So know this, you are not what your eyes see in the mirror, if you ever doubt: Close them for a moment and look, you will see clearly, lying beyond the mirror, in the shadows where there is no reflection, who you really is.

You may not be who you were, but you are still you, and you are beautiful.
