Longing for you

Long distance sad love poem

Separated by distance,

Your absence weighs heavy,

Yearning for a conversation,

Yet you're occupied, I see.

I revisit our old exchanges,

Smiling at our beginnings,

But tears well up,

Recalling our joyful innings.

Longing for these moments,

More than words can convey,

Just one more conversation,

Is all I wish for today.

We could relive our happiness,

Don't depart this way,

I fear I'll be broken,

Please, come back, I pray.

We'll paint new memories,

In hues of laughter and glee,

Together we'll navigate,

Life's unpredictable sea.

Don't let our story end here,

In the shadows of regret,

With you by my side,

We'll rewrite our duet.
