Lonely is the night

Waiting patient for the light

How much time is left in this life

Have I done enough things I like

Is the future dark or bright

My chest is getting tight

will I make it through tonight

Is my vision blind sight

They say we supposed to know the difference but I still do wrong and right

Triumph after plight

Smoke emerges post the flames ignite

But it’s how I stay warm

clothes barely fit right

Toes heels and in soles have an interesting insight

Would love to have the conversation

But there is no one to give or receive an invite

I guess I’ll speak to a couple people inside

Their not sure how long they have have before they die

Lonely is the night

sad poetry
