Lonely Hearts Club

Star

By Paula RowlandsPublished 2 years ago 1 min read

I’ve been a member of the Lonely-Hearts Club for way too many years I’ve spent many a Christmas time without any cheers

I’ve lost all my joy for living no Love or romance to stay I’ve lost my purpose and hope my wishes have gone astray

I’ve used up all my energy there’s nothing left to give my spark has dwindled away It’s a lonely life I live

No partner to come home to no reason to go out dismal and depressed days It’s hard to turn about

So, if there was an award I’d win the Hearts club star for the longest running member of years and years by far.
