Lonely Heart, A Lonely Mind
No one knows how I feel. Only me

Lonely Heart, A Lonely Mind
I sit in silence, all alone,
My heart feels like a heavy stone.
The thoughts inside, they drift and sway,
But no one’s here to guide the way.
The days are long, the nights are cold,
A story of loneliness, quietly told.
My heart aches for a touch, a sign,
But in the quiet, I’m just mine.
The world moves on, but I stand still,
A lonely heart, a mind that will
Reach out for something, but can’t find,
The peace it seeks, the love it’s blind.
Yet still I hope, though I may cry,
That one day soon, I’ll feel nearby
A hand to hold, a voice to hear,
A light to chase away the fear.
Until then, I’ll hide my tears
The sadness I felt all my years.
No one loves me, not as they shoul
My breaking heart, now turns to wood.

I've been writing poetry since the age of fourteen. With pen in hand, I wander through realms unseen. The pen holds power; ink reveals hidden thoughts. A poet may speak truth or weave a tale. You decide. Let pen and ink capture your mind❤️
