Lonely but never alone
In the doorframe of a disguise
There showed lighting in her eyes
The whispers in the night
Told her to be wait till the sun would rise
Wake up looking into the lions eyes
Moving past all the broken lies
It’s a new time, a new day, a new light
The tears that had lift her eyes
Weren’t wasted on some guy
They were used to break her chains
And rise again
Out of the lions den
Into a new life
Never again alone
Sitting on her own throne
The girl who was all alone
Never felt more alive
The girl who was hurt
Healed her own wounds
She’s a queen
sold on one thought
She’s lonely but never alone
