Lonely Ants

In tiny realms, where sunlight creeps,

A colony of ants their vigil keeps.

Their world, a grain, a crumb, a leaf,

A universe where dreams are brief.

They toil and strive, a ceaseless quest,

To find a way to build their nest.

With tiny jaws and mighty might,

They carry burdens day and night.

Yet, in their world so small and round,

A sense of loneliness is found.

Though surrounded by their kin, they roam,

Forever seeking, never home.

For in their hearts, a longing stirs,

A yearning for a world that's hers.

A place where dreams can take their flight,

Beyond the confines of their sight.

So, tiny ants, in grains of sand,

May hope and dream across the land.

For though their lives may seem so small,

Their spirits soar above it all.
