loneliness vs. solitude

Loneliness, the pain of being alone.
Solitude, the glory of being alone.
Unknowing the satisfaction of solitude, is befriending the panic of loneliness.
Solitude, builds resilience. The space it offers.
In a moment of boredom, instead of thoughts, a robbery of deeper thinking is committed.
Inherently thinking in a shallow level, from picking up the device.
The panic of loneliness is compelling, idle hands refresh a feed, before it’s even realized.
Without conscious thought, trying to avoid boredom.
Admission to the addiction, vulnerabilities are then seen with a clearer eye.
‘addicted to the phone,’ is not just a personal weakness,
It’s a predictable response, to a perfectly executed design.
Looking at things through this lens, halfway closes the gap, to making new choices, and needed changes.
Going from being lonely, to finding solitude.
