Lone Wolf

A huntress' heart

By Rachelle MurphyPublished 8 years ago 1 min read

LoneWolf

My life is in full bloom,

Yet I feel like it is falling

Apart

My father's temper has created

a second generation

My brother

As the walls come crashing down

I'm forced back in my little

Shell

My therapist claims my asthma is

Fake

You don't understand

What it feels like when

You can't breathe

You don't understand

What it feels like when

Someone is yelling

At you

When you can sense

The emotions around you

You struggle with everyday life

I can't even listen to my parents

because I feel like they

Don't care

They don't see I'm

Sensitive to the world

So they accuse me

of being lazy

starting conversations

Like If you had a job

I wish they could see

People don't hire

Me cause of my

lack of experience

But because I'm

Not confident in myself

I'm Afraid of reading peoples

Emotions

And them getting upset

Because I do not

Understand

Now that I'm back in my

Shell

I rely on a world

That doesn't exist

A world where I can be

Accepted

For who I am

A Huntress

A lone wolf
