I used to be free, with the world so large and wide,

But now I'm trapped in a jar, my freedom denied.

My tiny limbs can't reach the lid, no matter how I try,

I'm trapped in this small prison, and all I can do is sigh.

My captor thinks it's fascinating, to put me on display

But to me, it's just torture, to be locked up this way.

I used to adventure through the grass and the leaves,

But now I fear my life is forfeit, I'll never feel the breeze.

I'm like a tiny ant, or a miniscule bee,

Small in stature but significant to me.

I hope someone will find me, and set me free at last,

So I can roam the world once more, my tiny life a blast.

But for now, I'm caught in this jar, my world so small and tight,

A tiny person in a tiny world, with no escape in sight.
