Lock it up or lock it in

rusty metals scourging in

picked up keys on man-made holes

wounded sick by secrets untold

a moment for hope —

pressed thumb to index as a gray unfold

to forge a heart — beating to haste

but walls, never seem to faze

nerves on high as bodies slip in

perfect spins won’t cause an “in”

count to ten means one and ten

pulling drawback — faint, cheer retreat
