Living the normal days with you

Big days are easy, bestfriends weddings, birthdays, maybe even a christening,

its the small days I like, the normal-mundane, the ones that are not all hip-hip-hooray,

the days where we just get up, the coffee made before 9, the sitting across from you working through emails from 8-5,

those moments of purity, the ones that are natural, the "do you want another coffee? Some eggs? A cuddle or a nap?",

The big days are BIG, oh how they are so grand,

but the little days are just ours, mine & yours, shared in quiet sounds,

fresh flowers, unique in their bloom, like us on each day that we wake up as two,

rainy days, golden days, blue skies or grey, I know I want to wake everyday with you, just the same.
