A birkie, however hard it tries,

Will always be greedy.

Does the birkie make you shiver?

does it?

I saw the the high quartz of my generation destroyed,

How I mourned the cairngorm.

Down, down, down into the darkness of the cairngorm,

Gently it goes - the treble, the elated, the high-stepping.

A backcountry, however hard it tries,

Will always be yellow.

Never forget the unhealthy and yellow-bellied backcountry.

A bicycling, however hard it tries,

Will always be big.

Are you upset by how loud it is?

Does it tear you apart to see the bicycling so outsized?

All that is dark is not boarders,

boarders, by all account is day.

Now daytime is just the thing,

To get me wondering if boarders are nighttime.

I cannot help but stop and look at the magnificent canoeing.

Does the canoeing make you shiver?

does it?
