living alone taught me responsibility,
responsibility for my own well-being.
I learnt to take care of bills, health and surroundings,
I became more independent and self-reliant,
I learnt how to make decisions on my own and solve problems,
I became more confident, more resilient.
living alone made me more creative,
I tried every recipe I had in mind,
most were a disaster but oh well.
I decorated my space in new ways every time I felt like it
it was my little haven and I loved it.
I explored knew hobbies, who knew I could paint,
I even lernt how to play the guitar.
with solitude came self-reflection
the alone times are the best part.
honestly, wish I started living alone sooner.
