Live For Today There’s No Tomorrow
Enjoy life while you still have it

Live For Today There’s No Tomorrow
A skeleton sits at a laptop,
typing from the other side.
I reach through the silence,
words glowing on the screen.
I am sorry. There is no tomorrow.
Life is shorter than you think.
So enjoy it now.
Live for today.
Eat what you love.
Say what you feel.
Kiss like it matters.
Hold someone close.
The clocks will not wait,
neither should you.
Do not wait for permission.
Do not wait for the right time.
Call the person you miss.
Take the path you are afraid of.
Hold the hand of someone who needs you.
I was surprised by death.
It came quietly, with no warning.
Regret is heavy.
It sits in the throat like stone.
Love is light.
It travels farther than breath.
Kindness is proof that we were here at all.
forgive, and forgive yourself quickly.
Let go of anger.
It is too sharp to carry long.
Buy the ticket. Take the chance.
Open your hands to the day.
Do not leave words unsaid.
Do not leave love undone.
I type this message from beyond life.
Believe me. It is true.
There is no tomorrow.
Live. Now. Today.

I've been writing poetry since the age of fourteen. With pen in hand, I wander through realms unseen. The pen holds power; ink reveals hidden thoughts. A poet may speak truth or weave a tale. You decide. Let pen and ink capture your mind❤️

We only regret things we didn't do, and I never want to regret anything so always live each day like it's my last
