Little Girl

Little girl

By Mary JenkinsPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

Little girl i see you standing there

You seem so happy and safe

Too bad your the sheep in the lions lare

I wish you could see

The way their words soak into your skin

They burn into your mind again and Little girl you need to stand up and fight

Instead of sitting there with your mouth held tight

You have a voice but your afraid to use it

All they do if you make a peep is mute it

You think its normal you think its okay

You never realize that your worth is being taken away again

Liitle girl there are so many things to say

These people make you feel smaller day by day

All you want is for them to listen

But they have made your mind a prison

They say they love you they say they care

But the second you voice your opinion

They smack you down and send you into dispair

Little girl i promise it will get better

You will brake free

And you will finally see

How evil they truly could be

You will meet your gaurdian

You will give birth to your two lights

The toxic people will be forever gone and out of your life.

Little girl i see standing there

Don't you give up

Dont you dare

You will learn to fight

You will learn how to use your voice

You will finally know what its like to have your own choice-
