There are no words
That can describe
A little silly dog
That trots at my heels
And sits by my side
As day grows e'er more long
He sometimes asks
A lot of me
More than I thought to give
But I find as we
Walk side by side
It's not so hard to live
What is it like
To just be loved
For doing all you can
Is there a way
I could explain
How it's changed who I am
He is a little,
silly dog
The world is silly, too
I did not need
To tell him so
This little dog just knew
