I decided to think outside the box of my weird authentic brain and make something memorable, this poem or whatever this is that I just wrote here. All I can tell you is by the end of writing this, I smiled. I hope you will, too.

dear little Anne Marie,
you're an amazing person
She is me. I'm a woman,
I have ADHD. But I am not defined by the things that have torn me down time and time again. I'm defined by the things that I feel and that I am about, how I feel about myself. I have to be true to that girl. She's the one that was hurt. She's the one I always protect. My inner child.
Little Anne Marie. (that's what they used to call me)
But I'm older now, I am a new me,
Not defined by this damaged little girl but also not
Forgetting what happened and remembering that
It really doesn't matter what anyone else thinks,
As long as Anne Marie believes in HERSELF.
