Link is a Five Lined Skink.

He likes to run.

He likes to have fun.

He loves to lie in the sun.

Today the sun went behind a cloud.

It started to rain. Link saw a house.

The house looked old, but it was dry.

He snuck under the door.

It was quiet.

What was in the corner?

Was it a ghost?

No, it was only a lamp.

Link heard a creak He looked under the stairs.

It was dark. Was that a ghost?

No, It was only his shadow.

Link heard a crash in the garage. He went to look in.

It was cold and no one was there.

Link felt something behind him. Was it a ghost?

Someone was there. He saw something move under the chair.

Link turned around.

"Boo!"

It was his cousin, Blink.

Link jumped all the way to the ceiling.

"Blink!" Link was mad at first. Then he was happy to see his cousin.

He wasn't alone in the house anymore.

" Sorry if I scared you. I saw you come in. It is a great place to stay dry."

Both lizards sat on the ceiling looking down on the room.

Happy to be dry and together.
