They built a machine

That only goes to the past

They warned that there is no way to come back

In spite of this

They continued receiving bids

From people still longing for a time from when they were kids

The person it sold to went through rigorous training

The day of she climbed into the cockpit

They asked her over the speaker

"Are you sure about this?"

"You can go to the past, but no one will be there."

This time on earth remains linear.

‘Don’t—don’t go.

Don’t carry it to someone else this time.

Tell me about it if it’s something human.

Let me into your grief. - Robert Frost
