You look at me askance

As we dance

To the limerence in each other’s eyes

Sometimes I see what’s on your mind

But I promise, there’s no lies

I wish I could find

A way to say

I wish you were with me everyday

This is lovely. And I learned a new word. Well done.

This felt lyrical, and I want to sing it out loud
