So sweet, my Lily, that blooms in the spring Full of such beauty, the rain makes her sing With calm winds she sways, a dance full of life First to great the sun, last to say goodnight

With beauty so pure, she takes breath away My eyes cloud over with those memories So close to my heart, my Lily remains Through fire I march, just for one more day

Her smile so bright, her laughter so kind My Lily outshines each star in the sky Never more lonely, when she is away Can not find my heart, my soul remains frayed

As summer greats fall, I feel her strength wane Then fall to winter, my soul numbs again My one and true hope, I pray for each night When spring comes again, will be at her side

For now here I sit, her picture in hand These tears in my eyes, no will left, to stand For she is still there, just under the snow Winter move swift, so my Lily can grow....

About the Creator

Cole Hinshaw

To start with, my collection comes from a darker time in my past. But writing and creating has always been one of my greatest passions in life. So I truly hope to connect with the world and those of like minds and souls.
