Traveling Abroad at Night

By Emos Sibu Poriei (Kaya)Published 2 years ago 1 min read
Air Niugini

I looked out of the window

into the light against the night

flickering gracefully through the clouds

amidst the challenges of turbulence.

I watched with pride and joy

as it illuminated another air space

into a country now miles from home.

With peace in my heart

and tears down my cheeks

I say a prayer of thanks to God

for our National Flag Carrier

for lighting up the air ways

and gracing international terminals

with our country's presence.

Oh, if only you're abroad

would you feel how I felt.

Proud, admiration and love

for your beloved country.

God bless Papua New Guinea.

Gratitude
