I do not care to be

like everyone else

I am not

like everyone else

I am myself, nothing alike

And I do things for me.

.

I want to be smart

like everyone else

I want to travel

like everyone else

And Uni is my future

like everyone else.

.

I have ambitions

but they're for myself

My dreams are mine,

and so are my thoughts.

.

Why would I want to be

like everyone else

My loneliness is part of me

As much as my fingerprints for Touch ID.

Me as a person, I'm someone unique

Every choice should be mine, like every thought I think.

.

I will not cry

for everyone else

I do not falter

for everyone else

My passion fuels

My own desires.

.

Yet I still wish to be

like

everyone

else.
