Some people drive around potholes,

Others veer off the road.

Some people wait at a junction,

And some don’t know which way to go.

Some people crawl along slowly,

Others speed off ahead.

Some people drive full of anger and rage,

And some keep a level head.

Some people lead the convoy,

Others follow, unsure.

Some people drive for a purpose,

And some for fun and leisure.

I try to keep to the rulebook,

Stop my bad habits and quirks,

But right now I’m getting impatient,

I’m stationary…Stuck in road works.
