Like A Boss

She donned the cape, and wore the crown.

Straight flipped the tables,

now upside-down.

She slayed the monster, danced with the ghost.

Swayed in rhythm,

just like this post.

She faced down demons, bid them farewell.

Sent them packing,

yeah, straight to hell.

She stood her ground, as she should.

No clear paths,

none were good.

She walked alone, but didn’t stop.

She’d survive,

if all for naught.

Like a boss, she changed the game.

Turned their betrayal,

Into their shame.

Like a boss, those power moves.

Wouldn’t last a day,

If you were in her shoes.

She stood on business, like a boss.

That’s when they realized,

all she’d lost.
