Starting to think that I might

Open my mouth and smash down the damn

Holding back all of who I am

Just part my lips and let words spill out

Without assessment, judgement, doubt.

Doubt.

Doubt.

Oh fuck you, Doubt.

You can try and try but you can’t stop my mounting

The top of my me in all I can be.

Stuck on an off-cycle

jump on a bicycle

Now ass lookin tight-cycle!

It’s about the movement,

Progression toward growth.

Girl hold your space

I tell myself.

Keep your grace

I tell myself

Yet still this cocky grin

Creepin’ on my face

Cause I’m feeling good

And baby, hi 😉

The freak might come dance tonight

Do you get weird?

You know I do

I want to get freaky weird with you

I feel no shame

Then, I hear my name.

Oh no.

Hello Paranoia, did you enjoy your vacation?

Cocky bitch here overstayed the invitation

Back offline to tend voices in my mind

Please, I’ll take complaints one at a time!

Shut up

Step up

One, two, step, and four

I’ve been to this place before

Likely back again, to be true,

Getting faster passing through.

Pick up speed

Make up time

Everyone needs so much time

From me and we and them

Are these voices foe or friend?

Query? Worry.

Cautious probe.

So much glass

And here’s me chucking stones

Shards below but walls cleared

Excuse me while I keep going forward like a boss from here.

I love this...telling doubt to piss off and moving forward like a boss is so great. Super poem.
