Light Of Love

A balance of light and darkness is much more than just a sunset.

That darkness always overshadows the light.

Yet it still shines and isn't put out.

Like light, love brings warmth.

It makes the darkness less cold.

That is why it is so magical.

In its absence, the darkness is much colder.

If love is the music, why can it be so dark?

If you light up my life, you may still be full of darkness.

Love in the light may be seen.

Love in darkness can be felt.

Oh! I once believed love couldn't be light and darkness.

In reality, it could be the dual presence of both.

Without the presence of love, the magic is lost.

In loss ,you have so much more to gain.

To lose what is gained is a feeling that is worse than never being loved.

To not know the experience is to not know what it is to be loved or to have lost love.
