i'm here without much past
who i was, i don't remember
following my steps, one by one
placing my feet in solid ground
that knows no fear
now skies have cleared
and from my eyes,
you won't be seeing no more downpours
i am the daughter of the wind
i give myself to uncertainty
i let it carry me
we are one
and i feel light
like i've found my home
and just by believing it,
i can taste freedom
she is me
always has been
under my skin
inside of me
waiting to be embraced
loved by me
held by me
and i do
i welcome her
let her be
and i'm light
