life’s ups and downs
Life is a mere turning wheel. Only over when it stops

life’s ups and downs
Every up side has its down,
After a smile, there comes a frown.
The sun must set for night to rise,
Tears will cleanse the clouded skies.
Peaks and valleys, the ebb and flow,
A dance of joy, a touch of woe.
The bitter makes the sweet more clear,
Each shadow proves the light is near.
So when the frown begins to stay,
Remember, it will fade away.
For life’s a wheel, it turns around—
What’s lost is often later found.
