Life rolls the dice

Womans rights

By Paula Kesja Paluska Published 4 years ago 1 min read

I cried myself to sleep

Oh what a night

Who knew a canceled train

Can turn into a fight

Who made the husband

Stronger than the wife

Who knew that rape

Can last a lifetime

Why do my breasts

Hover every eye

Why does every man's hand

Want to slide past my behind

Why is respect based on looks?

And why is respect lost when a woman plays with a “flute’’

Why am I scared when I’m home alone

I just don’t feel safe in any place at all

I didn’t tick the box “female”

When I was pushed into this light

Neither did I subscribe to regular bleeding in this life of mine

Why are my emotions all over the place

And why am I crying over a failed baked cake

How does having a ball sack create a better wage

If women are equal then why do we have women’s rights

I don't think we're on the same page

I think women's rights is just staged

This one day a year we are onstage

The day after were backed into our cage

Ask me again why we feel rage

I ROLL My EYES

I rest the case

You can blame eve but I blame the snake.

About the Creator

Paula Kesja Paluska

I hope to make you shiver, I know it might make you cry, I just want you to smile or any emotion is absolutely fine,

I'd like to make you feel, how I feel inside, I want our energy to bond forever in this life of time.
