Life can be a very funny thing.

Its ups and downs can make

you laugh, cry and sometimes

even sing!

The sheer force of memories

that through time, often

may spring!

The first love, the first crush,

The first rage, the first jaw-dropping

tantrum you ever had, because you

Were so unbelievably sad, that

things had gotten so bad, that

It seemingly drove you nuclear

Stark-raving mad!

But now that you’ve grown

up a little more,

made some adjustments

to your temper and accepted

the fact that you have flaws,

but are still adorable and

strangely easy to adore;

You also find that becoming

older, more patient and hopefully wiser,

isn’t a total bore, but is as comfortable and

Serene, as being in a hammock by the seashore.

My friend, this is how you know

that your time on this Earth,

has indeed been well spent.

This is why.

You have now found,

and/or are in the process of finding,

knowing, accepting and loving yourself.

The good, the bad, the ugly and the

completely ridiculous.

The virtues, the vices, the black and white,

the grey areas and the in-between,

all somehow come together to make

the most beautiful thing ever seen.
