Life of a Dope Man

A drug induced mind-state

Can have a mans head spinning

A man can do so much

And not accomplish a damn thing

One million acquaintances

And a tantalizing bag of dope

A man can be so lonely

Unable to trust a soul

He envisioned a life of Power, Money

And everything that would come with it

But whats he going to do

When the 5-0 coming to get him

Now shackled in front of the judge

Waiting upon his decision

Where his acquaintances now

When he's sentenced to time in prison

He hasn't had a visit, no money,

Not even a friendly letter

Then Epiphany Strikes like Lightning

Without them his life gets better...

About the Creator

Thomas F

I was shot in the face at point blank range with a double barrel 12 gage during an strong arm robbery that quickly turned into an Attempted Murder. Although I'm missing my right eye and a bullet in my brain. I AM STILL ME & I AM STILL HERE
