Life lessons

Life lessons of a black girl

Talk like you got some damn sense

But you betta not talk while I’m talking

Don’t you dare call me a liar

Its do as I say and not as I do

Tell me when something bothers you

You better shut up, don’t nobody wanna hear all that

Make sure you eat everything on that plate

So your overweight butt ‘gon eat all that food, huh?

Go outside and make some friends

Don’t hang around her fast tail. She’ll be pregnant before high school

I support whatever you want to be in life

But you ‘bet not ask me for nothing

Hold you head up when people talk to you

I don’t care if he was wrong, respect your elders

Little black girl, have you heard anything I just told you?
