There once was a man from Peru,
Who had a hat that was colored bright blue,
He wore it around town,
Like a king with his crown,
But everyone thought he looked like a fool.
There once was a woman from Spain,
Who hated the sound of the rain,
She'd complain and she'd whine,
Every time it'd come by,
Until she got caught in a hurricane.
There once was a man from Hong Kong,
Who liked to dance to an upbeat song,
But when he tried to salsa,
He fell on his halsa,
And everyone saw that he was wrong.
There once was a lady from Greece,
Who had a pet pig that loved to feast,
On anything it could find,
Leaving nothing behind,
And the lady would always feel fleeced.
There once was a guy from New York,
Whose legs were so short he could barely walk,
But he tried to keep pace,
With the rest of the race,
And ended up being the town's biggest dork.
There once was a man from Peru,
Who had a pet kangaroo,
They went out for a walk,
But the kangaroo wouldn't stop,
And they ended up in Timbuktu.
Life is full of absurdities,
That can leave us with uncertainties,
But when we can laugh,
At the things that seem daft,
We find joy and make the most of our realities.
