Life is a Mixtape
The songs that inspire, heal and help us move

Puff the Magic Dragon, lived by the sea and even though I know how very far apart we are it helps to think we might be wishing on the same bright star. Jesus loves the little children, all the children of the world. Yes, Jesus loves me, the Bible tells me so. Zacchaeus was a wee little man. A wee little man was he. Right arm. Father Abraham had many sons and I'm in the Lord's army.
What will people think when they hear that I'm a Jesus freak? When I speak they say I've lost my mind. That let's me know I've never seen so clearly. Every once and a while I start to contemplate how a person like me could used by the Great. I know I'm just another Judas, kiss your face while I drive the nail in your hand. When the toast has burned and all the milk has turned and Captain Crunch is waving farewell, when the big one finds you may this song remind you that they don't serve breakfast in Hell.
Zoot suit riot, throw back a bottle of beer. Go and get your riot gear, swing your girly all around. You'll be dancing on the embers as the town is burning down. Red, red wine you make me feel so fine. You gotta fight for your right to party and cotton candy don't get wet until it's in your mouth. Take it back now, y'all, two hops this time and I'll teach you the electric slide.
Knock three times, if you'll meet me in the hallway. Twice on the pipes if you ain't gonna show. Cause I've got a brand new pair of roller skates and you have a brand new key. Chickadee China the Chinese chicken. Take me out to the ball game, buy me some peanuts and cracker jacks. And you can drive me home, with one headlight. You make me wanna roll my windows down and cruise.
Brandy was a fine girl, what a good wife she would be. This looks like a job for me, every body just follow me. My milkshake brings all the boys to the yard, I could teach you but I'd have to charge. Follow me and everything is all right. I'll be the one to tuck you in at night. You hang up and you call right back. I wanna know what turns you on, cause I don't see nothing wrong with a little bump and grind. I ain't as good as I once was, but I'm as good once--as I ever was.
