Life is a journey, short and sweet,
Filled with joy, love, and defeat.
We laugh and cry, we work and play,
And make memories that never fade away.
But death is always lurking near,
A reminder of our mortal fear.
It takes us from the ones we love,
And leaves behind a world above.
But life and death are intertwined,
Like the sun and moon that shine.
For without death, there can be no life,
A cycle of existence that's rife with strife.
So let us cherish every day,
And make the most of every way.
For life is fleeting, and death is sure,
But in between, there's so much to endure.
So let us live, and let us die,
For in the end, it's all just a sigh.
For life and death, they come and go,
But the memories we make, they forever grow.
