Life is a Highway.

It has twists, turns,

And potholes.

Sometimes your life is an adventure.

Constantly finding a new route.

You drive and drive

Sometimes having a risky turn

That may risk it all

The potholes, ah

They are troubling

Always out to get you

To confuse you

So you can only go so far

With you and your car

Before it breaks.

Luckily there are mechanics.

That help you when Life

Gets the best of You.

Though they aren’t always available

Or you aren’t needed to see them,

You still feel like you do

Because of the twists, turns,

And the potholes but it’s not all that bad

It depends on the car

If it’s strong or dependent

If it waits or acts

If it cruises or if it risks it all.

But every car is different

Every road is different.

But every highway has an end.

And every car needs a brake.
