Life is a Buffest Feast

Serve yourself, what you want

I was thinking—

Life is a buffet feast.

You are not served

a loaded platter.

You get to choose

what you want,

how much you want.

You have to walk

to the dishes,

and use judgment,

lift the ladles

and serve yourself—

or you'll be sitting hungry

at the table,

complaining,

no one's feeding you.

Life is like that.

It offers spectacular buffet,

brimming with wonders,

but you need to,

do your part.

I say that with confidence—

for I’ve savored the buffet,

all my life.

I go to nature—

be it fog or sun,

fire or rain,

and I am enriched.

My mind is content

with that delectable buffet.
