Life Is A Ball

Life is a ball, so they say,

and we must play along each day.

The ups and downs, the twists and turns,

are all part of the game we learn.

Sometimes we dance with glee and joy,

as if we're children, free as a toy.

Other times we stumble and fall,

but we get up again, standing tall.

We toss our hopes and dreams up high,

like balls that soar into the sky.

And though some may come back down,

we keep on throwing them around.

For life is a ball, a game to play,

with moments of both work and play.

And in the end, when we recall,

it's memories of laughter that enthrall.
